My COVID-19 Vaccine: Booster dose.

As a general physician and a doctor who is working in the district COVID-19 screening centre, I risk myself facing people who are suspected and infected of COVID-19. Many people that I screened turned up an index case. Gladly that I’m still healthy, yet not infected of COVID-19.

Instead of fully equipped with PPE, I received my 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine in March 2021. Now, after 6 months (October 2021), I received a booster dose.

Do I feel side effect from the vaccination? Honestly, yes! In my 2 early doses, I experienced tiredness, sleepy and extremely hunger. Then, on the booster dose, I felt tired and sleepy. Well, I kind of expecting it. I just keep working as my usual duty.

Thanks to God that the next day was my off day. So, i could have adequate rest after the booster dose.

I am happy to serve to people without being infected of COVID-19. Doctors take extreme precaution by exercising hygiene, wearing proper PPE and vaccinated. I will disappointed to myself if I purposely exposed myself to COVID-19 infection and transmit it to others especially my patients.

NOTE: “PPE” is personal protective equipment.
